Historic Evidences
The Birthplace of Santh Sevalal Maharaj
The Banjara community holds a deep, unshakeable conviction that Sevagad — which encompasses the sacred landmarks of Kalokundo, Ramji Thanda, Sariyagundu, and Dudhiyakundo — carries a spiritual sanctity that surpasses even the legendary 'Ashtadasa Shakti Peethas'.
This profound reverence stems from the sacred belief that Matha Jagadamba Herself physically walked upon this very earth, blessing the soil with Her divine footsteps, permanently sanctifying and transforming this entire landscape into the eternally holy realm of Sevagad.

Ramji Thanda
The Holy Birthplace
In 1707, Ramji Naik arrived here from Mangaluru with his five-year-old son, Bhima. In 1739, this holy Thanda witnessed the birth of Santh Sevalal Maharaj. In the folk songs of the Banjaras, this region is described as 'Gooty Bellary'. He grew up alongside his companions Garishya (the bull) and Tolaram (the horse), grazing cattle until age twelve before beginning his divine mission.
The ruins of Ramji Thanda are recorded as 'Nayakuni Bhoomi' in the revenue records of Gooty Mandal. According to oral traditions, Dandi Matha physically visited Ramji Thanda, manifesting as an elderly woman (Dokri), and rested within the household of Bhima Rathod and Dharminibai
Kalokundo
Located within the Sevagad campus, the historic Kalokundo is a sacred site where the Sath Bhavanis (seven divine sisters) bathed before granting divine boons to Bhima Rathod — a blessing that led to the birth of his four children. The young Sevabhaya also frequented this tranquil pond for his daily baths. For generations, Kalokundo served as the life-giving water source for Ramji Thanda's residents.

Ore Katta
Bhimanaik Katta
This sacred site marks the dawn of Santh Sevalal Maharaj's divine earthly journey — the deeply revered ground where the holy remnants of the Maharaj's birth were traditionally entombed.
Adjacent stands the Bheema Naik Katta, the historic elevated stone platform from which Bheema Naik presided over community assemblies to deliver justice. Thousands of pilgrims visit believing it brings divine blessings and miraculous healing.
Sariyagundu & Chandrayana Gutta
Chandrayana Gutta (also known as Chandra Kholi) is a sacred hillock that witnessed the divine childhood of Santh Sri Sevalal Maharaj. It is home to the Chinarayudi (Chenna Keshava) Temple and the sacred Dudhiyakundo waters.
The prominent boulder Sariyagundu was the young Seva Bhaya's favored resting spot while herding cattle — the very place where Dandi Bhavani (Goddess Jagadamba) manifested multiple times. Dudhiyakundo is revered as where the Sathi Bhavanis bathed before bestowing divine boons upon Bheema Naik.
